L0phtCrack是一款密码审计和恢复的开源工具。遵守MIT 和 Apache License Version 2.0 开源协议。
L0phtCrack最早版本在 1997 年由黑客组织 L0pht 成员 Peiter Zatko aka Mudge 开发，可用于测试密码强度，使用字典、暴力、彩虹表等恢复丢失的 Windows /UNIX密码。支持安全审计密码报告，其中包含密码长度分布，风险状态，字符集（以百分比表示）以及帐户和域的数量等重要信息。
L0phtCrack官网表示L0phtCrack不再归属 Terahash公司，回归到之前的主人，并决定开源。2021年7月1号后被收取使用费的可联系进行退费。
